O.S.P: How would you explain your passion for styling to someone who doesn't care about clothes?

 

T.H: It's something that gets me out of bed. I might get up and have nothing to do that day, it happens, but I'll still put on a pair of black jeans and a white t-shirt. Not just any t-shirt, but the right t-shirt with the right trousers. It makes me feel much better about my day, it makes me me. So to be able to give that confidence to someone else, I guess that is the passion for styling.

 

O.S.P: What's the story behind 4/?

 

J.P: Well, because we are a styling bureau, we work in the form of collaborations. The number four means for, so for this particular person. We see ourselves as a service that works with the client, we want to discuss it with them so that the outfit is personal and not just a costume.

 

O.S.P: What's the story behind 4/?

 

J.P: Well, because we are a styling bureau, we like to think of our clients as our collaborators. Therefore our name is fully dedicated to this mentality and work ethic. The number four is simply to be read as “for”, while the slash makes place for what comes after, like a slash always does. Our only goal is to create astonishing things for and with our clients. That’s what our name and brand represent.

 

O.S.P: How would you explain your passion for styling to someone who doesn't care about clothes?

 

T.H: It's something that gets me out of bed. I might get up and have nothing to do that particular day, but I’ll still dress up, instead of putting on clothes. Even when it’s a simple white shirt and a pair of black jeans, it’s well put together. This makes me feel better about my seemingly empty day. It makes me me, and gives direction and  will to start the day. Being able to transfer this feeling to someone else is where this passion for styling comes from.
